Sangat ("we", "us", or "our") operates HyperSleep (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

HyperSleep stores all data locally on your device. We do not operate servers, cloud databases, or any remote data storage. The following data is stored only on your device:

• Profile Information: Your name (optional), sleep goal preferences, bedtime schedule, and selected active days.
• Sleep Data: Sleep session records including start time, end time, duration, and sleep quality scores as determined by on-device sensor analysis.
• App Blocking Preferences: The list of apps you choose to block and your blocking schedule configuration.
• Sensor Data: Temporary accelerometer readings, ambient light levels, and device usage patterns used solely for real-time sleep detection. This data is processed on-device and not stored permanently.

2. Accessibility Service Usage

HyperSleep uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect which app is currently in the foreground. This is required to display the lock screen overlay when a blocked app is opened. The Accessibility Service is used exclusively for app blocking functionality and:

• Does NOT collect, store, or transmit any text displayed on screen
• Does NOT read or record any user input, passwords, or personal content
• Does NOT interact with any app content beyond detecting the foreground package name
• Does NOT transmit any data off your device

3. Google Sleep API

When available and permitted by you, HyperSleep uses the Google Sleep API to receive sleep detection signals. This data is processed entirely on your device by the Android system. We do not access, store, or transmit any data from the Google Sleep API to external servers.

4. Sensors Used

HyperSleep may access the following device sensors for sleep detection:

• Accelerometer: Detects device stillness to infer sleep
• Ambient Light Sensor: Measures darkness levels
• Usage Statistics: Monitors screen state and interaction patterns (requires Usage Access permission)

All sensor data is processed in real-time on your device and is not stored beyond the current sleep session.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscriptions are managed entirely through Google Play. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information about payment processing.

6. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT collect personal identification information beyond what you voluntarily enter in the app
• We do NOT use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
• We do NOT sell, share, or transmit any user data to third parties
• We do NOT store data on external servers or cloud services
• We do NOT use cookies or similar tracking technologies

7. Data Security

Your data is stored locally using Android's encrypted storage mechanisms. Since no data leaves your device, the primary security boundary is your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.).

8. Children's Privacy

HyperSleep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Using the "Reset All Settings" option in the app's Settings screen
• Clearing the app's data through Android Settings
• Uninstalling the app (all local data is permanently deleted)

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
